The Daisy Geyser hike is a very pleasant trail through the forest and open meadows, although you don’t pass that many thermal features until you get to Daisy Geyser itself. One of the highlights of the hike is that we try and time it so that we are at Daisy during the predicted eruption period, so we can watch Daisy Geyser erupt. Daisy is one of only six geysers in Yellowstone which have their eruption times predicted.
After watching Daisy erupt, we’ll take in the other thermal features of the Daisy Group of Geysers, before getting on the boardwalk towards Old Faithful.
On the way to Old Faithful we’ll pass Castle Geyser, another geyser which has its eruption time predicted. There is a possibility we may wait for Castle to erupt, rather than Daisy.
The trail is about 2.3 miles (3.7 kilometres) long.
We have three other hikes which also include the Daisy Geyser Trail. The first adds on the Artemisia Trail plus a portion of the Upper Geyser Basin boardwalk trail.
The other two are longer hikes. The one incorporates the Daisy Geyser Trail, the Artemisia Trail and Mystic Falls, while the other  does the Daisy Geyser Trail, the Artemisia Trail and Mystic Falls, but also adds on the Biscuit Basin overlook hike.
